#Commands

Type / in the message box to see them, with your skills, and keep typing to filter.

Command	What it does
/clear	Clear the conversation and start fresh (the old one is kept).
/compact [what to keep]	Summarise the conversation to free up context.
/context	Show what fills the context window.
/rewind	Go back to an earlier message: the conversation, the code, or both.
/init	Write the project's instructions file from its code.
/review [what to look at]	Review the changes for bugs before you keep them.
/export	Save the whole conversation as a Markdown file.
/copy [N]	Copy the last reply, or the Nth-latest with /copy 2.
/diff	Review the changes: every file Synonode or you changed.
/recap	A one-line summary of this conversation so far.
/resume	Go back to an earlier chat in this project.
/fork [name]	Branch the conversation here: go on in a new branch, /resume brings this one back.
/btw <question>	Ask a quick side question without adding it to the conversation.
/loop [interval] <prompt> | stop	Run a prompt again and again: every so often, or when the model says.
/schedule	The tasks scheduled to run later or on repeat.
/permissions	What runs without asking, and what never runs.
/plan <what to build>	Plan first, and build only after you approve.
/memory	Edit the project's instructions file, or what the model remembers.
/config	Open Settings.
/status	The model, the project, the mode and how full the context is.
/skills	The skills Synonode can use, each started with its own /name.
/doctor	Check that the model, the tools and this computer are set up right.
/agents	The agents the model can hand work to.
/hooks	Commands that run before or after the model's tools.
/model [auto | off | low | medium | high]	The model, and how much it thinks.
/rename <new name>	Rename this project.
/security-review [what to look at]	Review the changes for security holes.
/tasks [stop <id>]	The background jobs: what runs, what ended, and Stop.
/theme [system | light | dark]	Light, dark, or as the system is.
/release-notes	What is new in Synonode.
/help	Show all commands and skills.

/tools	Which tools the model can call now, and which are off.
/output-style default | explanatory | learning	How the model talks while it works.
/mcp	Connectors: the services the model can use.
/plugin	Plugins: add, turn on or off.
/usage	What Synonode keeps on this computer, and the model.
/cost	What this conversation has used.
/upgrade	Update the runner to the newest Synonode.
/privacy-settings	What is kept, and where.
/logout	Log out of synonode.com on this browser.
